1985 original album, containing most of the unforgettable songs by Huey Lewis and 50's oldies. But only about 12 minutes of score are available on this CD. That is original music as heard in the movie, but that is not enough at all to correctly present Alan Silvestri’s musical work.

Varèse Sarabande

Nice re-recording of the music, with large re-orchestrations and an energetic orchestra, but the CD contains only less than 25 minutes of music including the dozen of minutes already available on the MCA album. A great effort from Varèse Sarabande, but it is not the film's original music, and it is still far from the dreamed complete edition every fan is waiting for.
